Yeah Patriot is a great choice. They are also OcUK's favourites. They use it for their overclocked bundles a lot.

Depends on the monitor resolution you plan to play at. If it's 1680x1080 or less, then two 4850s would give you the best performance. Anything higher then I would suggest looking at a 4890 or GTX 275.

That's fair enuf - I have only used Nvidia cards recently (not fanboyish, they just happened to meet my needs at the time) and I have had no problems at all. That said, I believe ATI drivers are much better now.

The GTX 275 is a great card, but it's cooler is just as hot and loud as the one on the 4890 - so I hear. So an aftermarket graphics cooler is a very good idea. Unfortunately, the Akasa Vortexx Neo does not fit the 275. However, this new cooler fits both the 260 and 285 -so it should be fine on a 275. Unfortunately, this makes it quite a bit more expensive than the 4890 solution, but it will be a very nice setup.

I think intel were having some problems with the new generation of SSDs (just software problems I believe). But I would look out for news of the issue being fixed before placing a pre-order.

It might of been against the rules or hinting at competitors or pricing.

Send one of the mods a email.

Huh?? Why were the post deleted? If there was anything against rules I'm sure myself or one of the other dudes would have swiftly advised the removal of offending the messages. As far as I can recall, there were none - just lovely links to OCUK listings.

To tankskun, that coolermaster black looks fantastic. I'm tempted to get some houspaint and modify my RC1000 accordingly :)

yeh lucky that coolermaster decided to re-release the cosmos black edition, I always thought that was the best case and very cool in black.

cmndr andi good luck with the spraying if you decide to go ahead and modify your RC1000, will look tasty.

sorry if I offended anyone or break the rules.

I purchased a Dell S2409W 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor aswell the other day (might as well lol). Im thinking of getting another Sparkle 275 gtx to put in sli, will my Corsair tx650 be ok?
