New, immensely boring and dull car. The joys of moving out!

I see Fox is out in force again; now people that earn more than an average wage have to drive reasonable cars - and running an extremely cheap yet "capable" car is ridiculous.

Even you put capable in inverted commas. You know exactly the point I was making, it's not as if I suggested he should rush out immediatly and order a brand new car, is it?

The point is that he already had a Rover diesel! Getting rid and getting another one thats... got the same engine but is even older just seems confusing. He's even said himself its 'immensely boring and dull'. He's into cars, therefore I just don't see the point, it's not as if something for I dunno, 1500 quid is going to break the bank is it?

Well it is capable in the sense that its better than most £500 ****ters. They really are quite comfortable - even for long journeys and are reasonably pleasant to drive.

I must admit the move from the ZS to this is somewhat confusing, but then this car is likely to be a lot more comfortable than the ZS, which I think the OP mentioned.
