New Ink for meeeeeeee

Some tats I like others I don't, but these are amazing, never seen anime tats before.

I have been talking about getting my name written in chinese (was on my old sig) on my hip for ages, but am scared of the pain! :( can't imagine the pain of those, although you are probably used to it now Mo ;)

Really nice!

:D Come post back here when you are in your 50s/60s please

I explained this to my friends yesterday, 'I'm going to worry about that when i'm old and be the coolest granny ever, with wrinkley tattoos and dangley lobes'

Mohinder you know i love them you don't need to ask, Oli's manga is finished next Sunday and i'm all excited about mine :)

Looks neat Moh :)

I'm one of the "I like looking at them but wouldn't have one myself" people btw

And LOL @ the warning! :D

So that leaves what? Tables and chairs and stuff? :p

I really like the design and ink in general - but I don't like the placement. That could be because it's lacking a background at the moment. The only tats I really like on the forearms are generally ones that wrap round.

pretty cool but now you can't cheat and write all the exam answers on your sleeves!

slightly big for my liking however. What's on your other arm?
I have emu stars on my other arm :/ :D
And about the exam results.. my tattooist wrote something on his hand the other day and it took him about half a minute to find a space!

Exactly :)

How much did they set you back if you dont mind me asking?
Not as much as they should have..

So how many tats does that make now?
Seven :/

They weren't too hideous for pain. It's only the length of time I was in the chair that did it. I'm about average for pain I think, for a 'tattoo person', that's the second time I've sat for 4 1/2 or so hours, but I honestly couldn't have gone on much longer, I was getting pretty ****ed off.

They'll be part of a half sleeve when they're finished :)

That's gonna look so cool when your 80.
You're gonna look pretty cool when you start reading threads properly :p

What exactly is a half sleeve? :)
Just that, really - a sleeve's a sleeve of tattoos that covers your arm, a half sleeve's just half of one :)

In the future it will most likely end up as a full sleeve, but first it's going half way.

Looks good, always wanted a tatoo myself but can never think of anything to get done that hasn't already been done to death.

Same as me, I'd really like to get something done but its finding a design that suits me and I'm going to be happy with for the rest of my life. I refuse to get something done on a whim that I might end up regretting in a few years time.

If a tattoo is the biggest regret that you have later in life then you've had a pretty boring life!

i like them.

As for all the 'they'll look cool when you're 80' type posts - when he's 80 he'll probably look back and think that the tats reflect who he was when he was younger. Half the people who say things like that spend hours doing things that are worse for their bodies anyway - like burning themselves in the sun so they probably won't see 80 anyway. I'd say a perfectly preserved body would be a really sad thing in old age. It's not as if he's got 'HATE' tattooed across his forehead.

you haven't have you?? :p

Edit: totally agree with ArcadeFire's last comment!

I've been toying with having my start sign done on my arm like this:
