New installation of Windows 7

Hello

I've been dual booting an older version of Windows 7 with XP and have just downloaded, and stuck on a DVD, the latest RC.

My question is this. If I boot from the DVD and then from the install screens just format the HDD with my current Windows 7 install on, then install the latest Windows 7, will everything be fine and dandy?

If you're just formatting the partition with W7 installed, it will be like starting from scratch. I hope you're aware.

But yeah, if that is your goal... shouldn't be any problems I don't think?

I have just been through this process, works fine.... just getting all my drivers installed
