What do you think will be improved from previous intel chips?

do you think there will be a massive speed boost for gamers?

What would you like to see?

1) Clock-for-clock performance seems to be slightly improved - which is always nice.

Turbo boost will be used quite a bit.

On the mainstream CPUs conventional overclocking (increasing bus frequency) will not work. The only way to produce decent OCs is to buy a multiplier-unlocked chip (K series).

The majority will have onboard GPUs of better performance than current i3 and i5 versions (but still not good enough for serious gaming).

Power usage will be improved.

2) Not really. Games have been GPU limited for a long time now and I don't see that changing any time soon.

3) An accelerated rollout of the s2011 enthusiast platform.

New CPUs based on the s1366 platform (lol).

it's more than slightly improved when a 2.5GHz chip equals a 3.33GHz chip

the overclocking thing isn't completely confirmed plus I'd take bets that if it is true some mobo manufacturers (looks at ASUS) will enable it

I think there might be a small increase for gamers, and a fair increase when it comes to on-cpu PhysX

don't agree with the accelerated rollout, gives me less time to save upo
