On the road....
I've finally upgraded to a smart phone, an iphone 4s to be exact, having not had one of these things previously, any pointers as to websites I should check out, apps etc would be appreciated...

I don't get the thing until next week, but fancy doing some reading up & research in the meantime.

A bit of a vague thread perhaps, apoligies for that, my first Apple forum post! :o

Cheers. :)

  • In the Settings, go to Location Services, and System at the bottom, and make sure that all of them are turned off apart from the top and the bottom. They're unnecessary and this can at least increase your battery life a little bit.
  • If you are with a carrier that doesn't have support for visual voicemail, try HulloMail.

As for apps...probably best to leave that to others, as I don't use that many apps in reality.

Apps

Depends on your interests. If you like sports then skysports news app is a must. Flipboard is a great app that combines news in different catagorys into one place in a very sleek style. If you use facebook get the facebook app. Photo Editor is a great editing tool like instagram i guess but i prefer this (you can add text and stickers :) ) If your a tesco user then grab yourself the club card app! Tune in radio lite is a nice web radio software ideal for talksport etc. TVcatchup lets you stream live TV!

There is far too many to mention but those are a few.

Tips, if you have a certain web page that you enjoy looking at daily you can book mark this to your home page (where all of your apps go). Tap the middle button thats on the bottom which has a box and arrow icon, then tap "add to home screen".
