New iPod Nano earphones! :(

Hi,
I have the new iPod Nano 8gb, it's about 3 weeks old and already my right earphone is buzzing really bad under bass :confused: , i don't even have it loud, my volume is limited!
Is there warranty against this or a way to fix it?

I thought they would have solved this by now, obviously not. Ring up Apple and ask them if they will exchange the phones under the warranty, but i dont think they will.
 
My mate suggested this to me to fix my earphones and it seems to have worked surprisingly :
For anyone else with this problem try blowing and sucking the earphones both sides (if you get me LOL :p)

Seems to have worked, no more crackling.
 
i personally dont like the ipod headphones and think they r dire.. bought myself a sweet pair of sony "buds" to use on my nano last xmas... which im quite happy with
 
The new style iPod earphones actually sound pretty good. I was just going to leave them sealed but I'm glad I gave them a go. Don't knock 'um until you've had a listen. :)

I had a listen and found they were terrible!! Hence i bought some new ones and gave the ones that came with the pod to the gf.. who might i add complained when they broke after 3 months use.. where as my sony buds are still going playing some fine sounding music in my ears :D
 
it used to be possible to just order free ones off their website.... boy we had some fun with that one, but due to it being very easy to just get some when you didnt even have an iPod they started asking for credit/debit card details when obtainig them, although this may only be if the old ones are not sent back etc.

EDIT: i have used the new earphones today, and they sound very close to the old ones, but the EQ on the ipod doesnt do them much justice, on stock flat/off EQ the range beats my pair of sony ones.

The old suck and blow does do wonders... kept one pair going for three years with that, until all the moisture made the wire just pull off the back of the speaker

add nearly £100 to an ipod just so you can have LESS space, but of course you get to browse through your song titles, IN COLOUR!!! DUN DUN DUN!!!

ipod > nano
