New Ipod Shuffle?

Anyone know if there's any plans for an updated shuffle anytime soon? Stupidly sold my v1 shuffle, and I don't like the ones at the moment. I was gonna buy a v1 again but if there's a new one out soon I may as well wait and see. Any idea?

If not, does anyone have any reccomendations for an MP3 player to use at the gym (aside from a v1 shuffle, which are perfect!)?

I already have a 2nd gen 8gb nano but I'd rather have something like the shuffle which I can stick round my neck and press a button through my top to change track, rather than fannying about with pockets!

The latest one came out on February 19th, so I doubt they'll be changing too soon.

Ah right. Probably get another v1 then. Will I have a problem using two ipods from the same library? I vaguely remember reading about some problems.

Isn't a problem with two iPods on iTunes, no.

You can use playlists with it and they work pretty well.

A friend of mine bought a shuffle at the weekend and the guy in the shop said the recent price drop was to shift stock for the next gen one.

iPod updates are usually in September though so I doubt it'll be before then.

It has been announced on the website that the 2GB Shuffle is coming soon - even the price is announced in the US.

Just managed to source a new 512mb v1 shuffle for £16.50. Cheap and cheerful and it'll do the trick

Don't know what it is about the new shuffle's, I just don't like them.

I have a few of the older 512mb shuffles. Inbuilt USB, and they are cheap to pick up. At the time they had the best sound reproduction of all the iPods for some reason. Havent seen the more recent ones tested though...
