New iPod Video (3.5" touchscreen) - likely?

There are loads of rumours about a new video iPod comming out that I am very interested in. I will be getting a new iPod in New York sometime next week, do you think this rumour is true and be out by the time I go to New York? I keep hearing something special about the 30th of March. Also what would you say costing would be? I am prepared to pay up to $400 for the lower storage version if it does not cost anymore. Thanks for any help

Ohh thats on Saturday! When the video iPod was announced was it released in stores that day?

why should they be? They chose to buy an iPod video and whenever you buy a product a new one is round the corner

EDIT: When is the celebration date for Apples 30th birthday? When they announce a product at the conference things (like with the event before the iPod video) is the product released there and then or is it a case of waiting a few days, weeks, months?

Will the new iPod announcement be today? I keep checing ThinkSecret to see if they have confirmed it but the more I read into the new iPod rumour the more I see it as being false

(current iPod video ent been out for long, Apple have not got movies on iTunes yet etc etc).

EDIT: Still no confirmation

. Anyone know anything?
