New(ish) netbook

Going to buy an acer aspire one tomorrow. Atom z250 processor, 2gb ram, 250gb hdd....running vista.

Its for my nan, so storage isn't an issue, so i was thinking of buying a cheap ssd (60g) for windows just to speed things up.

Now i remember when i bought one for the girlfriend, the sales person said they can only run xp or 7 starter....could i install 7 full?

Anything else i should know on the aspire ones?

yes you can, I've installed it on the AMD version of the Aspire. Would she need the extra from the full package?

Doubt it, its just I have a spare copy of Home premium, so would make sense installing that instead of buying 7 starter (unless this is free now?)

you could download the iso for home starter and use the key from the aspire
