New ISP but which one?

hi people , i am currently looking for a new isp as at the moment i am using a dongle.

which is the best adsl provider to go with ? Also is it possible to get connect without having a phone package set up? because we canceled our virgin media package, so now have no phone or tv, alls i want is internet.

thanks for replys guys, but is it not possible to get adsl with out having a bt landline ?
