New ISP - Microsoft Outlook Issue

I have changed ISPs today but I'm having an issue with Outlook 2010. I cannot send or recieve emails anymore and neither can my Dad. I guess you have to change setting in Outlook but nothing stood out to me. Anyone know how to sort this out? Cheers.
 
Most ISPs will have set up instructions on their support pages. It probably involves changing the POP3/SMTP addresses and ports.
 
Remember, some ISP's wont allow you to see their SMTP server from another ISP for obvious reasons, so make sure you take that in to account.

For example, if you use TalkTalk email and then go to BT, on your BT connection you wont be able to see smtp.talktalk.net thus rendering your talktalk account useless via Outlook etc
