Hello Guys,

First of all, i'm stuck between an ivy bridge pc and an old i7 pc such as 990x or sandybridge-e 6 core.

My PC will only be for gaming, however i considered 6 core for the future, but thats also a lot more pricey.

With any processor i get, i plan to overclock, seeing as ive done it with my past 3 PC's, i cant buy a new PC and not overclock, its just got to be done lol.

Regardless of the PC i think i will get :
- a Sapphire 7870 Graphics Card,
- Crucial M4 240GB SSD
- 1TB HDD
- A Basic Optical Drive

Now for the parts i need help with :

- What case to get
- Custom Water Cooling (I will use a 240 Radiator so will need to fit in the case)

- A 850W Power supply (Not sure which one yet)

- Processor (i5 Ivybridge or i7 Ivybridge)

- Motherbard (Have no idea, open to opinions, previously had asus p8p67 pro, msi z68 gd-65 and asus maximus V gene, so would prefer something new from them. I like a change :]

- RAM again im open to opinions, seeing as i am getting a ivybridge, a 2133 / 2400mhz would be a small preference, however im just curious, whats better, 8Gig 2400mhz ram, or say 16G 2133mhz ram (or lower), depending on whats a similar price.

I think ive pretty much covered everything :) so as many comments and points of view will be appreciated.

And to add, ive got a £1500 budget,

Graphics card - £220
SSD - £180 ish, whats better, 2x 128 or 1x 256??
1TB HDD - £60
Optical - £15

Thats : £475

I want a case for around £100
Water cooling - £150
850W PSU - £100

Thats : £825

Processor : i5 3570k £170, i7 3770k - £250
Motherboard - No idea
RAM - Had Trident x 2400mhz, but open to other routes that may be better.
