Seen that Asus has the 3 motherboards releasing that support Intels Upcomming Ivybridge ( well upcomming eventually lol ) the P8Z68-Deluxe/GEN3, P8Z68-V Pro/GEN3 and P8Z68-V/GEN3, was just curious if anyone has any knowledge of Asus releasing a new maximus edition motherboard, perhaps a maximus V with support for ivybride and backwards compatible - similar to how they released a crosshair formula V supporting AM3+ etc, if they are hopefully the iv will drop in price lol.

- Thanks in advance.

Yeh I know they're 1155 and a bios would most likely of allowed for Ivy, but wasnt 100% sure on if they can fully utilise Ivy, and if the newer MoBo's would allow better performance and if Asus has said anything about an ROG release.

Chances are, they'll fully utilise it. It's not going to be a massive performance increase over SB.
The AM3 to AM3+ thing is kind of different.
