Has anyone here had experience doing multi drop work and can give me advice? I went to my assessment today and could be starting this new job on Monday.

It is £80 a day work and paid weekly (they advertised >£150 a day though), it's "Self-Employed" work too. It's for a major online retailer that live in the rain forest. I do >150 drops a day. I get my own van and all insurance, ved/tax is paid. It's a Puegeot Sprinter (will it drift?)

I lost my drivers licence when me 'n' the boys were out on the town so need to apply for a new one.

I'll be dead 'ard soon.

Hey guys. I have been doing this job for awhile now. It's a great job it really is and I do it to the best of my ability. The pay is £100/day and we pay £180/week for our van hire. I lease a Ford Transit.

People here were saying 160 drops a day is a lot and it is and if I was lucky I would be doing 60 drops a day. I leave mine at 8am, I get into the depot at 8.30am. I load my van which is usally 160+ parcels. Then I start my route and I am driving all day and all night. If I am lucky I get home about 8pmish which is rare. It's often 9.30pm-10.30pm.

It's 12-16hr shifts it looks. No sick pay or holiday pay either. Unless you drive over the speed limit it's hard to meet thier expectations. I have noticed a lot of people being sacked as they aren't quick enough.

I never leave parcels on front doors or in porches and I still get some concessions. I have had a few missing parcels lately and I am suspended until Amazon investigate it. I have geo code information stating it was delivered AT THAT address and a signature.

I loved this job but treating their drivers like thieves with no proof and just going by the customers word? I am waiting on this outcome but until then I am getting £0/day, have rent to pay, bills and they probably expect me to pay for that van. I am going to goto the police station tomorrow and hopefully they will help.

My boss hasn't even paid my last weeks wages into my bank! I have another job lined up but if you leave this company in 3months they take money off you for training days and CRB checks/drug/alcohol tests

Here is another thread of another guy who was sacked.

I stuck out that job because I enjoy driving. We had our wages lowered to £100 a day then £180 a week for the van hire. So 5 days of work I got £320. I started at 8.30 am (actually left mine at 8am) and I would debrief about 9pm maybe 9.30 pm. I would be home about 9.30 pm maybe even 10.30 pm.

Anyway my boss told me that I had to wait a month for my wages incase of parking tickets or speeding fines. Being patient I waited. He won't answer my calla either. I am thinking of legal advice. I was suspended without pay for concessions. My ex boss hates scourers and the likes of Polish and Romanians. He has laid off other guys due to them "not being fast enough". They put way too much pressure on drivers.

I was pretty much accused by him (agency boss) of stealing over £1200 worth of parcels. I don't even know if they are real concessions or he made them up. What is very fishy is they NEVER once contacted the police. Now all my ex colleagues probably think I did it.

I have a new job now but I am angry with the fact my ex boss can get away with this.

I went to the police station they cannot help as it wasn't me thato lost out but Amazon. I went to Citizens Advice and they gave me the number to Employment Law Department.
