I just started working at the Apple store Regent Street, so I haven't disappeared but for the protection of my job, I won't be posting on this part of the forum because of the contract which I had to sign. I love working at Apple, its some thing I look forward to and I hope you guys understand why I cannot post on where with all the speculation and such which goes on where when I work for Apple.

If your ever in the store come find me and say Hi (real name: Tom L, medium length brown hair (guy with the Apple shirt and lanyard)).

An NDA for someone who works in a shop?

No offence intended at all - enjoy the job and hope it all goes well - but Apple are ridiculously paranoid sometimes.

Not offended I used to work for Tesco and Odeon and I was so bored, Now I work for a company whos products I am passionate for and whos staff are also passionate. I get to work with other like minded people because so many of them are degree students studying in creative areas its a great place to work and I would highly recommend working there if you are good with customer service and Apple products.

Hmm, congrats on the job and all but if I worked there I wouldnt stop posting. NDA or not. So long as you keep to whats in the public domain there isnt a problem.

Besides, the rumour sites are far ahead of retail employees. You might be privvy to certain stock information but theyre hardly going to detail unannounced products in the weekly e-bulletin.

(I'm seriously not peeing on your bonfire mate, just giving my 2p) :)

Wow, I'll so spot you out of the crowd:p

Congrats on the jobby, definitely sounds more fun than Odeon or Tesco, hope you have fun and NDA or not, you can always post here... don't have to tell us which product is updating or new coming...

Apple wouldn't have even known it was you posting in the first place. Thats like Gibbo saying because he works at ocuk he can't post on the forums about anything.

It's fine to post on this part of the forum, so long as you don't divulge any information that might damage your job :)

Congratulations on the job anyway mate.

I think you might have served me in there today, guy buying Doom 3 and you spoke to me about intel/universal things on the mac games cases!

Nah don't think so... NDA = Non disclosure agreement (to stop me spilling the beans on the insides of Apple and any info which might accidentally come out. Which is unlikely because we don't know any thing anyway).

Heres a pic of my uglyness....
