New Keyboard and Mouse Desktop

Hi people. I need a new keyboard desktop and mouse. Was gonna get the Logitech MX5000 bluetooth but I hear it is very laggy so would be no use for gaming. Not too fussed about wireless. Want it to look cool and work. Need to have some media keys for controling volume and music tracks.

Any ideas or should I avoid anything?

Gaming set up or just general use?

The logitech G5 and G7 are great mice, only main difference between them being wired and wireless. Keyboards will vary hugely depending on what you want.
