New keyboard and mouse time

Time to upgrade the keyboard and mouse.

My Saitek Eclipse III is a little worse for wear now and my trusty Microsoft IntelliMouse is.. well.. old.

I'm looking pretty favourably at the Roccat Isku and I'm stuck between either the Kova or the Kone. I really like the features of the Kone but I'm not so keen on the lifetime of it that I've seen crop up here and there.

Would anyone reccommend these? Or anything in particular over these at a similar price range?

It has to be said.. I'm a sucker for good looking hardware

whats your max budget?

mouse: lots of people recommend the logitech G500

Roccat Isku has got some good reviews. but i dont no much about it

I'd say maximum budget is probably about £150 for both.

But it is pay day after all.

mouse wise it would be a good idea to go to a shop to try out the mice, see how they feel as everyone like different styles and feels

im not sure. i've never been as live to far from it. but someone else would be able to say or you could drop them a webnote or a quick call and ask them.

Logitech G500 and Corsair K90

I have both and I'm very happy.

The K90 looks very good indeed.
I'm not sure if I prefer 'low profile' keys to the mechanical keys though!

I'm going to spend a bit of time looking into this too. But I'm looking to go wireless... are there any limitations still with wireless with regards to 'gaming'? Sorry for the thread hijack

Seen the G700 at a decent price. I am quite tempted, but the reported battery life is putting me off a little. Hummmm!
