Hi Guys

Just wondering as im in the process of wall mounting my monitor for space and viewing issues, was thinking of changing my mouse and keyboard to wireless. Would this be good performance wise and if so what are the best keyboard and mice out there that have long battery life or are even rechargable.

Cheers
Adam

I would say nope. I have used wireless keyboards and mice before and although good for general usage, if you're going to be playing games they tend to run out of juice pretty quickly.

Only use wireless mice and keyboards if the wires are getting in your way is what I would say.

Cheers for the response

The wire for the keyboard will do my nut in though all the way along the desk, i have a fairly big corner desk in my room and from wear i sit to the corner it will be around metre long and to have the big across the desk looks stupid at the mo. I used to have the dinovo logitech setup and that was okay until the mouse dock started to loose its charge.
Is there any good wireless keyboards out there, like the logitech g15 i think it is or the saitek ones.

Cheers
Adam

Well, I have a logitech set on one of my desktops and I have noticed, while the keyboard is good the mouse tends to die rather quickly when playing games.

Never used Seitek but i've heard good things. Can't really advise you anymore than that i'm afraid but I'd say it's worth spending a little extra to get slightly better wireless hardware.

Im kind of hoping that there would be saitek wireless keyboard but cannot seem to find one.
Cheers for the help anyway guys

Don't agree with any of above, and posted in enough threads not to repeat.

Logitechs KB batts last 1year+ and the Mice that recharge a Lith-Ion Batt last days with no recharge (you sit on cradle when not in use/overnight)

Had Wireless for years and will never go back to wired.

Hi helmutcheese
What would you reccomend then in wireless mate, im a real fan of the saitek II wired version but what is available in wireless and what mouse would you reccomend that would be amazing for gaming purposes.
Cheers

I bought a wireless set yesterday. The Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000. I'm pretty pleased with it. The batteries are said to last a long time according to reviews and there is no responsiveness issues thus far. I also like the added weight in the mouse from the batteries.

Payed £25 for it.

I'm also interested to know which mouses do the job for gaming, both wired and wireless.
Is there a thread anywhere on this Forum dedicated to such mouse matters?

I only ever bought Logitech wireless Kits for myself and customers, I do REC them as #1.

I really do not like/need a gaming mouse as I need an all purpose mouse, but Logitech have them and plenty of peeps here own the gaming ones.

My last three keyboards/Mouse have been wireless, Its great having fewer cables and less clutter but I'd quite happily go back to wired ones just for the performance
