New keyboard causes boot options at every boot

I have recently bought a noppoo choc mini mechanical keyboard, but it has a problem.
When I boot up my pc, the boot options selection windows appears every time.

This does not happen with any other keyboard I use.
If I use the keyboard on another PC, this does not happen.
If I use a USB-PS/2 converter the issue is resolved, however then I get double key presses for pretty much every key I press, which is a much worse issue.

I have been though all the EFI options and don't know what to try next.

When I say 'new keyboard', I bought it second hand from the MM and it is out of warranty.

If I plug it into a USB3 port, it boots fine but then I can't type my password in.
It is the latest BIOS.

Update on this.
I moved my PC to a friend's for a LAN and everything worked fine, the keyboard was even in the same USB port as before. How very odd.
