New keyboard please

Original Cherry boards were. Unfortunately, the one I got a couple of years ago wasn't as durable as I remembered as the spacebar suddenly went 'dead', as in I could tap it with my thumb only to find that the little bud\magnet that was supposed to push it back up had ceased to do so. I tried to exchange it with Cherry, sent it back but they never bothered replacing it.

I got used to using a laptop and noticed how little my fingers hurt using keys with less travel, I've been waiting ages for a company like logitech to bring out a dinovo with a wire, just a shame about the lack of a double-space return\enter key.

Raptor K1 (not K2).

I had a G15, it's not bad, pretty average build quality and a bunch of gimmicks you'll never need.

Snagged a K1 and never looked back. They're build by Cherry with the best parts they've got. It's really well built, old school design.

They're quite hard to get hold of now and quite pricey, but well worth it.

I've owned the Saitek Eclipse, G15 and Razer Tarrantula.

The latter is the only one I've actually been able to use for "gaming", I use arrowkeys and the others had a crummy amount of allowed key-presses where I'd go back to a PS/2 media keyboard whenever I played a game.
