So my trusty logitech g512 is starting to play up, some keys won't work without pressing a few times. Some will double click etc.

But I fancy something a little smaller. Number key is handy but not nessesery and I'm finding myself often hitting the board with my mouse in games.

I'd like to keep it under £150. Linear switches, not too loud.

I'm torn between two.

Roccat vulcan tkl Pro
Xtrfy K4

Any opinions or alternatives welcome

May have just been unlucky, happens with all brands really. They generally have a good reputation so I wouldn't be worrying too much

My 513 started doing this just outside the warranty period. tried cleaning it and putting some WD40 down the stems but it got worse untill nearly half of the keys was affected, pity as it was a really good keyboard.

Got a Ducky One2 mini with silent red keys and am happy with it now, took a bit of getting used to using the Fn key for some functions though.

I've just been looking at the one2 sf, with silent reds funnily enough.
How are the silent reds compared to logitechs offering

Being using a Logitech g915 TKL for a month or say, love it so far, the low profile nature is nice to type on.
Goes down to £150 sometimes.

I find them very similar (513 had linear keys).

Had a Corsair keyboard with normal reds and never liked them, took a chance on the Ducky and they are much better. they are not silent though but are much quieter than normal reds and not as easy to press. I had a habit of actuating the keys on the Corsair whilst resting my fingers on the keys, but not with the Ducky.

Of course this is just my opinion, but hpoe it helps. Also i have so much room to move the mouse now. :)

Thanks for this. I've ordered the one2 sf, with silent reds. I always thought logitech linears were quieter than the norm cherry reds, so was abit reluctant. But nice to hear they compare.

Hope you get on with them as well as i am.

I got my Ducky second hand so at least you can return yours if it's not to your liking.

Ducky turned up today. Live the switches so far, quieter than the g513 and much smoother, nicer to type etc.
Came with purple key caps
