New Keyboard with best touch.

I am trying to touch type eiyh this, the only probklem I am hacving are the jeys are spread ourt further than a usual keybaord.

^^ I did that quite fast on the Saitek Eclipse that is less than a week old. The keys feel quite blanc mange like but with a sure footness when pressing them with speed.

I think that the Enermax is good, but at £60 I'm not going to experiment with it.

After 2 years, the keys on my Apple one are only just starting to lose their nice feel. It's virtually a normal keyboard layout (apart from the odd key), and personally I find it good to type with. I'm not a touch typist but I do type pretty quick.

Ok I've been looking around and I bought a enermax aurora. It looks well sweet. I'll let you know how it feels :D

I have been looking at the Auroras myself - want to treat myself :D

Let me know how they are because I have seen mixed reviews. Most are good however.

I love my Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 Pro.

For the first time I'm not going to go for microsoft keyboards. I have had them for years and I think I need to find something that has a better feel. Next on the list is a real woman of course ;)

I suffer from (sometimes severe, though it comes and goes) RSI and I wouldn't trade it for anything... feels sublime and has so many handy programmable buttons. When I forget to take it to work (i'm in email tech support, not good for RSI!) not only do my hands suffer, but my productivity decreases at least 20%. It becomes an extension of my arms. :D

I have to say, I got the same 4000 and it's an excellent keyboard.

Only getting used to it's shape lately - as I had a logitech ergonomic before.

I've got one of those A4Tech A-shaped ergo keyboards, pretty nice. It's not split into sections like the MS one, the keys are slanted so you don't bunch your hands together when typing.

I have a feeling that the Raptor K1 Professional will have the best feel & touch. I've never used the keyboard myself, but having experience with seperate keyswitch keyboards, I wouldn't get anything without. As the keys on the raptor have shorter paths, I'm uncertain how it will feel on the fingers.

If you're asking for style as well, I'm not the person to ask, I'm the kind of person who'd root around car boots sales to find the noisest beige keyboard I can find. If I don't use my current keyboard (classic ibm), my wrists twinge :(

Those Auroras look wicked though.

I got the keyboard now and am using it. The touch is really weird and i'm still getting used to it, though I am making far few mistakes alreadyg. (<--I'll leave that in shall I? ;).

The look is fantastic and it feels nice and cool. I think that I would have a much longer adjustment period simply because my older microsoft natural ergonomic keyboard was much more elevated and fat. Erg, I hope that I don't get RSI now lol...

I need an update! Used to it yet? I don't wanna blow that kinda cash on a lemon... even if it is a damn sexy lemon lol*

Lets us know.

*Lemons can be sexy! It's 2:42am :p

I'm able to type a lot lot faster on it now, but I'm still making the odd mistake or two simply because my older MS one was very very wide compared to this keyboard. The keys are a lot more like a laptop then I ever thought they would be and the depression depth is very small concordantly.

But still it's not a bad little keyboard and would still recommened it.
