Sidewinders are absolutley SOLID i mash mine to bits nd ive even sat on it nd spilt coffee on it, Still working. The dials on the top are rare to find on a keyboard also and are extremely useful. Ide point you in that direction

Saitek i use there mouses though and no problems either.

Microsoft Sidewinder X4. Picked mine up for £25 a while back and it's be a great keyboard for the money. 3 levels of brightness for the backlit keys, media keys, volum control, macros and anti-ghosting technology.

I would take this in to consideration if you are a gamer:-

this appears to be my problem:-

n-key Rollover (NKRO) http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1523154&page=10
This is when you can press as many keys as you want at the same time, and all of them go through. This is similar to what some 'gaming keyboards' incorrectly market as "anti-ghosting", even though Logitech and Razer only apply it to the WASD cluster
You might also hear the term where n is replaced with a number (i.e., 6-key rollover), which means that up to that number of keys can be pressed simultaneously. Note that only PS/2 keyboards can exhibit full n-key rollover. USB spec limits keyboards to 6 regular keys plus 4 modifiers (but remember, it's not guaranteed, it's just a maximum).

I have a USB mouse plugged into a USB 3 port and i am using a (Razor Lycosa keyboard)

On the Razer keyboard you can only press more than 2 keys at anyone time near the wasd cluster.

You may wih to check this on your new keyboard.
