A friend of mine is looking to buy a new laptop and has spotted this one:
EEE PC 900-BK INTEL MOBILE - 20GB SSD 1GB 8.9 LINUX BK UK
That gives you an idea of the sort of thing he's after but i was wondering if this is a good choice for this kind of price and class of laptop. To solve the problem of no hard drive or DVD drive he was going to get these as well:
Western Digital 160GB Portable Hard Drive External USB2.0
LG GSA-E50N Slimline USB 8x DVDRW
Does this seem like a good combination? Anyone have any alternatives in mind?
