Following a mixed-success thread on here
I've got my hands on this:
Dell Precision M6700
i7-3740QM 6mb cache 2.7 GHz
Win 7 Pro 64 bit
2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA Quadro K3000M
16GB DDR3 1600 MHz
256GB 2.5inch Serial ATA SED Solid State Drive
17" FHD 1920 x 1080
9 cell Li-Ion 90 w/hr
DVD+/-RW
Intel Centrino Advance N6205
Dell 380 BT card
I'm pretty chuffed but have I got a good config???
I'm also looking for some advice on setting the thing up for the best 3D performance, it looks like it selectively chooses between the nvidia and intel graphics processors depending how it feels within the nvidia control panel? Is there anything I can do to make sue I'm utilising the machine to the miximum?
The wireless lan doesn't seem up to much either... I have a 300mb/s router and I dont tend to get much over 54kb/s! with the laptop!?!?! can anyone throw some suggestions my way re that???
