Ok so I could do with some advise from you good people here at OC. It's that time again where a new laptop is needed ... ok well thats a lie I just want a new one. An I am having a hard time picking from the two bellow. One a Quad core the other a i7. The other features are negotiable (though a 1.5TB HDD is tempting).

I am looking for the laptop that will kick out the most processing power. Will be used for games now and then, however I will be installing a linux distro on there and preforming security audits from the laptop too and would like to be able to run a few tasks at one time instead of waiting for a multi threaded site spider (for a example) to stop before I can move onto the next step.
