New laptop buyer here

Hi all, I am looking into buying a laptop. Keep in mind that this is terrority I have never delved into. I want it for word processing for me lady, so decent HD space, hooking up to my tele to watch my NFL game pass, and the occasional game (older titles except the likes of Crisis). I am looking to spend £350, but will consider going to £400.

I do want a decent-ish Gcard. What are the Intel HD chip sets like?

I have just bought an Acer Aspire E1-571 which will be fine for that sort of thing.
I bought mine from a well known high street retailer which is closing down and paid £295 for it but it does retail at £350 so it's in the price range you want.
Not sure if posting a link to the Acer website is allowed on the forum but take a look at the specs.
