I'm looking for a bit of advice. I'm looking to replace my ageing desktop PC with a laptop of some sort (have looked at a macbook pro, but after alternatives) It will be used in Canada (where I am moving to in 3 weeks time).
Primary use will be photo editing using Lightroom and then just using it for general stuff like websurfing, word processing etc. I will not be using it for gaming though as I have no interest in that any more.
So basically, spec me a laptop for around £1200-1500 (max budget with a bit of play). As much as I like the idea of a rMPB, I'm not sure I really want to make the switch from Windows to Mac at the moment.
