New Laptop for Software Development

Hi All,

I am looking to replace my old HP4520s, which has served me well for several years.

My ideal spec would be a 17" screen, Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB Ram, 1TB SSD

How close could I get to this with a budget of approx £1000?

Check out the Dell Outlet store, http://www.dell.com/learn/uk/en/ukdfh1/campaigns/splitter not many 17" laptops in there but definitely a few options. There are some very powerful 15" ones you could pick up with money left over to get an external monitor?
