New laptop fresh install

I've bought a dell laptop, I don't like windows 11. I have a windows 10 image

This is my first eufi type machine.

If I want to wipe it, do I burn the image using the eufi mode in Rufus. Disable secure boot in bios.

Boot from usb stick. Delete all partitions, create new one install windows. Reboot, enable secure boo then continue.

I'm used to installing windows on regular older machines.

Is my method ok?

Opening up W11 perforamance monitor has high number of cache faults. Does this mean faulity memory?

What CPU does the laptop have? If it's Alder lake I'd stick with Windows 11.
