I'm in the market for a new small laptop/decent spec netbook. Primary uses will be internet browsing, MS Office and light photo-editing/backup/tethered shooting. Small, light and portable but with a reasonable HDD size and quick CPU would be preferable.
My wife and I currently have a three year old Dell Studio 15 (Intel P8400) which has not really been reliable. The new machine will be in addition to this.
Budget is £300-£400 - what are the most suitable candidates? I've read through some of the Lenovo X121e thread, and have specced up a machine on the Lenovo website which seems to fit the bill - can I do better for the money?
