I am getting a new laptop , i am using Laptop for Photoshop cs ect , no games

Would this spec be ok

Vista Prem 32 bit
Core 2 Duo Pro T7200 2.0GHz 66MHz FSB 4MB L2 Cache
Widescreen 17" WUXGA (1920 x 1200) Display with Truelife
Sata 160GB
( X2 1024 ) 667MHz DDR2
256MB Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS PCI Express X16 with TV out + S Video

Yep looks nice. Dell by the sounds of it.

I'm not sure if you're saying it comes with 1GB or 2GB of RAM, but you DEFFINITELY want 2GB minimum. Not onyl for Photoshop but Vista needs it badly too. If 4GB was feasible that i'd go for 4GB, but i suspect its mucho £££.

If you can bump the CPU up that would be a bonus but is spect even a small jump is £100+ extra so prob not worth it. The 2Ghz C2D seems to be the sweet point in the price/performance ratio for laptops atm.
