Budget is around £1000 but i really don`t wanna go anymore . I got a inspiron 15 5000 Series 5505 and its a lovely laptop but the display is absolutely terrible so i am returning, screen brighness is good but my photographs are all washed out , even worse when i hook up to my Dell 27in monitor

if your not going to be looking at the laptop screen for long periods do you really need a 4K screen especially on a display under 15" it does not make sense, there is quite a few 11th gen 4k Lenovo's coming out which should meet your requirements around £1000 or have a look at there current pre BF sales

Been looking at the Dell XPS ie XPS 15 range really nice laptops but cannot see the point spending mega money for something i really not going to use , all i want is a really nice screen

You can save a bit on Dells by looking at refurbished models from their outlet and there are a couple of XPS15s in your price range. You could also look at the Lenovo Ideapad and HP Pavilion ranges. For photo editing you need an IPS screen and these are more expensive. There's such a huge demand for laptops at the moment that new models in your price range can be quite scarce. The Ideapad that many of us bought earlier this year has been hard to get due to a shortage of parts.

I can't see any mention of 4k in the OP, only in your reply. You seem to have introduced something the OP hasn't asked for only so you can say why it's a bad idea.
