New Laptop

My current laptop is an Compaq A950eD with these specs;

Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 1830 MHz
3GB Memory
160GB HDD
17"
And an intel graphic accelerator.

I am currently looking for a new laptop/notebook, which can run virtual machines perfect. Also a small game like GTA or BF2 should be possible to run.
The fact is I am looking for a 15" (15,6") laptop.

I have been looking for a DELL laptop, but for me as a student the prizes are rather high. I hope you guys can help me out hehe .

Acer laptops would seem to offer very good spec for the prices asked, without compromising quality.

But like anything you can't have something for nothing, if you spend £400 or less you will be getting budget build and poor graphics ability, £500 plus and your getting there.

Well I am about to pay 600 euro's for a new laptop, that's the max.
Cause I have a good pc to play games on, so I really don't need a game laptop after all
