Hey guys.

So at the moment i'm using a HP2311x, when i first got it it served me well but it's high time for an upgrade!

I went to a friends recently and he was using a 23 inch BENQ 3D monitor, and right from the get go the difference in quality was just amazing (Same rigs btw)

The blacks were blacker, whites whiter, colours more intense, and where with my hp2311x when things are at a distance they seem to be blurry'ish and dont stand out well, the things in his monitor stuck out clear like day, they looked amazing and everything felt like it popped out

So iwanted to get a new monitor, and money really isnt a problem for me, so i was looking into this

It's fairly large, and the way my desk is set up at the moments its quite an odd shaped desk, so my monitor is usually tilted anyway, i need to get a new desk at some point.

Is this a good gaming monitor? Anyone here have experience with or or recommend another good large one?

Money isnt an issue but i dont wanna head too far off that pricing there!

Many thanks!

(3D Not necessary BUT 120hz is always fantastic)

I'm not a fan of that shape, prefer a 2560x1440 monitor...around same price and 30%+ more usable screen; that doesn't appear to be 120hz. Other than the shape i'm not keen on it appears to be a pretty good monitor.

Yeh, I think I just got unlucky with a dodgy one. The viewsonic is a great monitor though. Great image quality and fast response times. Also like the minimalistic styling of it and touch sensitive buttons. All the 1440p screens seem to suffer from some light bleed though :( the dell being far worse than the others. The Asus is also a good choice as long as you aren't susceptible to pwm flicker.
