Got my new shiny LCD TV to replace an old CRT 28 inch widescreen, as I am looking to get an Xbox 360 later on I wanted a semi decent screen.
I didnt purchase from clockers however I wonder if someone could give me some advise on it. The Product is a Polaroid Model 3232, The Tv is fine, screen is lovely until you come to put it in standby. Power LED goes from Blue to RED, Screen goes dark, then you hear a low pitched whining sound. coming from the top right corner just above the power lead. The sound is very low pitched like when a monitor is in standby or the refresh rate is low.
Only issue is I got this monitor on a discount, as it had been returned prevoiusly due to the response time of the screen, this fault was not documentated. Therefore I believe I am in my right to a replacement in 28 days of purchase. However will they give me a new one, or will I have to pay the 10% back to get a new one instead.
Or Should I put up with this.. Maybe the noise will go away.. I hope its in a bedroom so I am not sure if I can adjust to it.
