New LED covers for RAM?

Can you buy new covers for RAM sticks?

I was thinking if I could take my old ugly RAM sticks and take the covers off and replace this to improve cooling and look? Not that cooling needs it haha..

You can buy RGB covers if the screw holes are the same... but then this means a wire coming from the ram to a fan slot.... ew.
