New LED TV issue.

Hi everyone.

Recently purchased a new Samsung 48inch LED TV.

All has been good but in the last few days 2 dark patches have appeared on the top and left hand side of the screen. The top left also has started to flicker. Like the backlight or something but only on the top left. Its not all the time but every 20 mins or so.

Any ideas what it could be?

Could be.

The dark patches happened 2 days appart. Was not sure if the LED driver board was failing?

What's your plan? Warranty repair or new unit?

Warranty repair mate. Hope the leave me with a TV if they have to take it away. Ive heard most cases can be fixed in your home.

Talked to Samsungs contractors today. They have ordered a new panel and will come to fit it next week.
