I am looking for a new lens to replace the previous however I am not sure what I should get, so would some one advise me, I currently have...

Sigma 28-300 f3.5-6.3 (nikon fit)

Nikon 18-70 DX 3.5-4.5
http://www.europe-nikon.com/details.aspx?countryid=20&languageid=22&catId=117&prodId=907

I like both lenses however I think it might be time to move up so assuming i sold the sigma what lens would you recommend for my Nikon D70? Also how much might I get for the sigma lens? Although I like it its a bit limiting, and it feels weird to use compaird with the other, and often produces less than 1/60th of a second shutter speeds even on a good day.

Thanks, although I have no specific budget in mind im not going to be able to afford a large amount of money.

the sigma 70-300 apo dg is a bargain for what it is.

I don't know what else you could look at, 18-200 VR would replace both really and is a good consumer lens.

the nikon 24-120VR is my favourite for a everyday zoom, though some people have gots ones which are a little soft.

the 70-200VR is incredible but has the price tag to match.

I'd save for the 18-200 if i was you, it should do just about everything you want. otherwise you could do worse than the sigma 70-300 apo dg, £180 is a bargain for what it gives.
