Still too big for a 1080p screen IMO. 24” seems to be the 1080p sweet spot. 27”+ should be 1440p.

My first 144hz screen was 1080p on a 27inch platform... one of the very first if not the first 144hz screens the old Asus, it was a TN too, and despite looking dated now it really wasn't so bad. I later had a 1440p 27 IPS next to it, and depending on what game I was playing would decide what screen it was best on. I think the 27 inch would come in if you wanted to watch video on it too, if you didn't have a TV perhaps.

Wonder if there will be better stock levels than recently released LG monitors.
Got a GN950 on order but would LOVE a 32" 4k 144hz monitor. Maybe in a couple of years.
