Links are fixed now, internal uploader issue :) looks nice another great addition from Lian-Li, the desk cases in general have been very popular over the years, despite being a significant investment.

Am I missing something here? The pictures would suggest the difference between the 2 is the size but the specs on the respective product pages list the dims. as exactly the same. If it's just the desk size, another £500 seems like quite a hefty ask from Lian Li...

They look ok but they bulk at the front where you legs go is too much and people like to took the arms of their chairs under the desk slightly when gaming.

While I agree that the front is possibly too bulky for some, I'm not sure many gamers or otherwise would really want to tuck the armrest under their desk? That's a very un-ergonomic thing to do. Properly adjusted armrests should be about the same level as the keyboard and mouse (elbows at 90 degrees). If the armrest is lower there is increased pressure on the wrists. I generally tilt my chair forward when gaming but the armrests are still clear of the desk.

I seriously considered one of the earlier models. In the end I opted for a separate height adjustable table and new case.

The main issues that dissuaded me from purchasing were:
- Fixed legs: They cannot be removed which meant for my office which has a narrower than normal door, the desk wouldn't fit through.
- Fixed legs: If they ever failed it would be difficult to service and render one of the key features useless. Height adjustment in a desk is paramount for my comfort and needs (alternate sitting and standing).
- Leg quality: Based on the specifications they are similar to some other Chinese brands I've seen around. They're decent but not a match for the big OEMs like Linak.
- Depth of the front "recess". Although recessed the thicker front section may limit ultimate comfort.

It's a shame, I really liked the concept and they look amazing. If they were in stock at the time I probably would've convinced myself to still get one.

Wasn't a cost issue in the end since a decent electronic height adjustable desk ended up being £850-900 and another £760 odd for a case. The desk is using a fairly cheap and basic top (about £25-30) until I find something nicer so the bulk went into quality legs with 150kg lift capability. When you break down the cost of a decent electronic height adjustment table and case, what Lian-Li are asking isn't cheap but hardly ridiculous either. I know people on other forums like to complain about the price so thought I throw that in.
