Having seen one in the flesh they are actually very nice looking and certainly unique for sure. :)

Systems liket this would be good as a portable workstation as well. Good option if you need a lot of portability, like going to an from uni etc...

If I had the money I'd go for something like this as I always go home on the weekend (work in London) but the problem of course is the inability to upgrade as parts become older etc..

I find it odd they've gone with RAID 64gb SSD's - doesn't that stop you using TRIM?

Why not just a single 120gb? Surely the performance benefit of going RAID is not really that noticeable once you're in SSD territory already?

Great spec, but why oh why do laptop manufacturers insisting on making virtually every gaming laptop look like a toy.

Let's see some more understated well specced machines - some of us have to use our laptops in public too! (Granted the P170EM and P150EM don't suffer in this regard)

I quite like the red of the palm rest, its a nice colour and goes well (even the dragon design doesn't bug me although would prefer without).

However it looks horrible on the lid especially with the dragon design. If we wanted a stupid design on the lid we'd buy a macbook...

MSI use SuperRAID, have a read up on it, the performance is exceptional. :D
