My PC had crashed, maybe by utorrent or the new beta? Old prog wouldn't run.
Downloaded & installed new beta & lost wu @ 50%
Error said expecting 4 nodes only 1:(
Core not found so deleted work files & new core downloaded [78]
Project 3403 206 points:eek: I'd got a standard unit:(
You have to use -smp flag now to get SMP WU. Instructions not updated.

cd ~/folding/FAH
./fah6 -smp -verbosity9

Now got a new 2605 1760 pointer:)

It's maybe rhetorical - should I have installed new beta before old one expire & done it before I was caught in the middle of a WU?
Will this one expire 1st Dec? How does one find the expiry date?

I hope you haven't had the *[insert expletive of choice] ache that I have.

It's all over the V6 FAQ that you have to set an -smp flag. You should read more about the beta you are installing before going ahead ;)

But then there'd be a danger of getting it right first time:rolleyes:
I read all of the faq after installation - more haste less speed.
