looks really nice in my opinion and they've finally given it that second side button that most gamers were looking for (something that stopped me from buying it up until now)

I really like my G5 and quite like the new one. But i am more tempted towards the wireless G7 instead. Even though the mouse is fantastic i have never found the texture of the mouse to be my favourite.

After looking at that review further I'm tempted to get one of these, do you guys use your G5s on a pad?

im using a steelpad 5l atm with my 518 however the 5L is one of those mousepads that will definatly work with lazer mice (at least thats what steelseries site says)

Mine arrived today. Although, the surfaces are a bit more grippy than the original G5, i'm not too sure of the two mouse buttons.

at the moment, it looks like I'll be staying with my DeathAdder.
