Hi
I am building a loop with a ekwb performance 360 kit, my question is i also purchased a 1lt bottle of mayhems advanced nano coolant, is this all i need to put in my loop or is there another liquid i need to add.

thanks.

The guy in the shop said i didnt need to use the stuff that cam in the kit...he said all i needed was the mayhems coolant i bought...i wanted a white coolant and the mayhems is white, so i thought i would check before i put it in the res...I am half way through the build and am not at the stage of putting the coolant in yet...are you saying i need distilled water as well

well 24 hours in and just a couple of questions. When I read about this kit there was a lot of comments about it being silent as opposed to other types of cooling. Mine is not silent i can clearly hear the pump and fans even at half speed......at full speed it is very noticable, is this normal or is there something wrong. My temps are very good at idle at around 18 to 20 degrees but at load doing fpu test on aida 64 the temps are as below

the pump is 4800 speed at load so full speed but temps seem way to high, Is there anything I need to change or does this look ok.

Well fans are 1850rpm so any fan will be quite loud at this speed. For me 500-600rpm for idle is silent and below 1000 for load is good. This pump is loud to me as well, so I try to keep it at around 1500rpm at idle, at load doesn't matter as fans will be louder for you.

Don't know how hot this cpu normally gets @4500, but I would say your temps are quite high. Might be mounting of cpu block, or a question did you change jet plate in the block ( did you dismantle cpu block before installing it )?
I didnt dismantle anything...just installed it all.....one fan was really loud even at 700 rpm so have rma'd that today, when I rang up ocuk they said i would have to return the kit but I said no way am i taking it all apart for one fan so I have sent just the fan back.

It does seem to be very hot on fpu test but i have just done a 1 hour run on occt and got this result

and an hour gaming temps only go as high at 45 to 50 degrees on pubg so may be it is not a big issue in real world usage.
