New Mac

Just got home and cracked open my 2.53Ghz / 4Gb mac Mini am loving it, again. I had a 24" iMac previously but ended up giving that to my dad while I built a new PC. Also bought a wireless keyboard and magic mouse.

Anyway I installed an 80Gb Intel X25-M into the Mini earlier on, easy to do, toughest part was prying the base off. Reset the PRAM and installed from fresh.

My word SSDs are awesome Apps open virtually instaneous! I am shocked with how responsive it is. It is so nice having itunes or safari opening as soon as you press the mouse button.

I'd love to have an SSD in this Mini of mine. I keep all photos/music/movies on the drobo so the 320GB in the mini has 267GB left.

The MacBook Air I had had the 128GB SSD and was amazingly fast.

If only I had the moniez!

Same, the only apps I'll have on here are :

iphoto
itunes
iwork
office 2008

Although the upgrade was easy I was bricking it when turning on for the first time.
