I'm sure most have you have seen this, just wondered if anyone had any thoughts. New materials? Would you put up with a bump in cost of the MacBook?
I think a lot of the changes suggested are quite sensible, new keyboard, oversized trackpad etc. Also seems to suggest the gap between MacBook and MBP will be as small as it's ever been. How long can they keep multitouch away from peasant-folk like myself? Surely it's better for the platform and cheaper to manufacture the new trackpads for all Mac laptops.
It's good news for me as I was thinking about replacing my MacBook this year. It's a great laptop but looking a little tatty these days - it's been used almost daily for the past two years and has had it's fair share of knocks against door frames etc. I was considering a MBP for the more solid materials but I can see myself going MacBook again, save it having any major malfunctions.
