I've been contemplating getting a unibody Macbook for a few weeks now.

I'm currently using a Core Duo 2ghz 1st Gen Macbook which is fine apart from a few battery issues.

Now I want a new one because its all shiny and new etc, but is it worth the upgrade in terms of will I actually see much of a difference?

I can probably get around £400, maybe a bit more for the Core Duo on auction sites.

Currently I use the system mainly for browsing and light Photoshop use now and then.

And is it worth getting the 2.4ghz above the 2.0ghz, apart from the obvious illuminated keyboard etc.

If I do buy it'll be with a full HE discount.

Answers on a postcard :p

Its used for browsing only - It runs perfectly well with like 67678687678 tabs open in safari.

I dont really have any speed issues with it.

I'm using a 7200 HDD and 2gb Ram.

I think I'll wait, only reason for getting the new one is becuase its shiny and I cant justify £500 for that. :(
