Hi All

I am looking to buy my first macbook but not sure which one i will generally use it for office work and would like to run windows too.

Also can anyone advise if it's better to just buy directly from one of the apple shops as i work near Regent street

Thanks

:)

If you buy it from the Apple Store online, it usually takes about 2 weeks to come. So if you don't want to wait just pop into the Apple store and buy one.

Just get the stock one if that's all your going to be using it for. If you feel you need more power just upgrade the RAM.

Thx, Will the Apple stores have the new models in stock already, as i don't want to be sold a old one ?

I would leave it a couple of days as they don't tend to have new items iin ready when they are available online.

It wouldn't hurt to go in the store and ask them when the new ones come in, if they haven't already.

I ordered my new Macbook this morning, and its despatching today, as long as you order a stock on its going to be with out within 3 days.

I'm getting the basic model. getting a 7200rpm HDD and 2gb of memory from OCUK - a lot cheaper than apple.
